What's In Store this Month...
Retail is an entirely new thing for Jon and me. One thing I've been told is to "keep it fresh" by changing up displays occasionally. Well the "window on our world" is literally our front window inside building #9 and it's changed up each month to give everyone an idea of the myriad items we have in store. Many times we have seasonal items and we like to put them in the window.
This month (October) is our favorite! What with the pumpkins, brisk air, colorful leaves and hot, comforting CUPPAS! We are celebrating our Harney & Sons teas and tisanes, available in loose and sachets, with a reminder that we carry 42 flavors. (You can enjoy a DIFFERENT flavor every day this month with our offerings!)
Our sale items this tenth month are the things that go with tea: our biscuits and local honey are on sale at 10% off our regular reasonable prices. The biscuits include not only the famous Walker Shortbreads imported from Scotland, but we have just gotten in another order of our exquisite shortbread butter cookies from Makabi & Sons: Vanilla Earl Grey and Verdon Lavender biscuits. Our honey is LOCAL and is sourced from Happy Hives Apiary.
Our October 2026 window at CuppaCT
This month’s window features some of our 42 flavors of Harney & Son's teas and tisanes, which along with vintage teacups, are the “reason” for our wee shop, which began after we sold Take Tea, a British Style Tea Room and had many, many vintage cups that needed to be rehomed.
We also have a few of the books that we offer, all being tea-ish. We've highlighted books on Scones, Tea Tips, and Tea with Jane Austen among others. We have others in the shop, including some for children of varying ages.
There is a white fascinator, one of many of varying colours you can choose from if you want to dress the part at afternoon tea.
Join us in October for the joy of perusing our lovely china, and the necessaries for making and taking tea, and enjoy 10% off our biscuits and honey.
